Apple Music, Apple TV +: Apple increases the price of its main services

The brand increases the price of its subscriptions from October 24. With a 40% increase for Apple TV +.

At Apple, inflation isn’t just about iPhones. This October 24, the American brand announces a price increase for most of its services, with immediate effect, reports the specialized site 01net.

The most emblematic evolution refers to its streaming music service Apple Music, which goes from 9.99 euros to 10.99 euros per month. The family subscription (up to six people) goes from 14.99 to 16.99 euros per month. An increase of more than 13%. The annual subscription ranges from 99 to 109 euros.

With this price increase, Apple Music becomes more expensive than Spotify (9.99 euros per month), but it aligns with the French Deezer, which also offers a monthly subscription at 10.99 euros.

40% increase for Apple TV+

Another service in question: Apple TV +, launched in France in 2019 at a particularly low price. The increase is substantial, since the service goes from 4.99 euros to 6.99 euros. That’s 40% inflation. The annual version of the subscription goes from 49.99 euros to 69 euros. Apple’s offer, devoid of advertising, remains however among the most accessible, with a euro more than the future Netflix offer with advertising.

The Apple One offering, which includes Apple Music, Apple TV+, Apple Arcade, iCloud+ storage service, and Apple Fitness+, is also affected. The individual subscription goes from 14.95 euros per month to 16.95 euros per month.
