An American couple, both former e-commerce employees, decided to celebrate their wedding with an original theme, to say the least: Amazon.
After meeting at a conference dedicated to e-commerce in 2016, Eddie Levine and Jing Gao met again in 2018 on the occasion of an Amazon seller summit, reports the American media CNBC. That is why on August 21 they said yes on a stage that pays tribute to the company that brought them together.

Some decorations were reserved for e-commerce enthusiasts, such as table locations, indicated by a series of ten numbers similar to product codes found on the site.
Fortunately for the couple, most of the guests, also from the online sales sector, had the necessary codes to understand these small references. On the occasion of a toast, the groom asked “if you met us in the context of electronic commerce, stand up”: half of the attendance was then standing.
The idea of making the wedding a full-fledged Amazon conference had been floated, when a software company offered to sponsor the event. But the couple didn’t get that far, as they had set foot in a celebration that was unusual to say the least.
