Epic Games, the publisher of fortniteannounced this Tuesday, October 1, new more advanced parental control functions. It is now possible to limit screen time on fortnite and in Unreal Editor for Fortnite, the tool to design, develop and publish content about the famous game.
Specifically, parents should go to the “Parental Control” section of the main menu of fortniteor on the Epic online portal. All you have to do is set a time limit per day and that’s it.
It is also possible to define specific periods of time during which children can play. This helps, for example, prevent them from starting to play at night or while doing homework. Finally, they can activate a feature to allow children to request additional play time.
Activity reports
If a time limit is set, the player will receive a notification during the game when they only have 30 minutes left in the game. The child may make a request directly at. fortnite to have more time. To do this you must go to the main menu of fortniteselect “show time limits”, then choose “Request more time”, if the setting has been enabled. Parents are free to accept or reject this request.
Parents can also view “weather reports.” These graphs show the daily time the child spends playing and their weekly average.
