But, Apple could convince other people to be interested in their professional vision, with other variations in their helmet. According to Bloomberg, the company works on new versions of the latter. The first will be cheaper, the news agency indicates without giving more details about the price.
But, it could be difficult for Apple to reduce the price of its helmet, due to the customs duties promised by Donald Trump in semiconductors, smartphones and other devices, the pro vision in China.
Increased helmet and glasses
This new version would also be lighter than the current helmet. With a weight between 600 and 650 g, the latter can cause neck pain. It can also be difficult to use for long periods. Apple would seek to solve this problem with a lighter pro vision.
The other version could connect to a Mac. With it, Apple seeks to create a low latency system to continuously transmit the user’s MAC screen or connect to high -end commercial applications, according to Bloomberg.
This, while customers have already used pro vision to see images during surgical operation or for flight simulators. Two areas in which the user wants to have the least possible discrepancy, which cannot be guaranteed by a completely wireless system.
These revelations intervene when Apple left its augmented reality glasses project capable of connecting to a MAC last January. Its CEO, Tim Cook, did not say goodbye to this product, destined to design glasses that the user could wear all day. It would be an absolute priority for the company, but it will spend several years before these glasses are ready with the technologies that should be perfected.
