Four women who accuse the male influencer Andrew tate of rape and sexual violence in the United Kingdom are asking for a probable amount to reach Tuesday the judge in charge of the procedure.
These four women continue Andrew Tate in Civil before the Superior Court of London for events that would have been committed between 2012 and 2015. They claim damage to the assaults they say they have suffered.
During a preliminary hearing on Tuesday, Judge Richard Armstrong said the plaintiffs claimed damage “that they will probably reach six figures”, and that the trial could be held in early 2027.
“Behavior identified as coercive”
Andrew Tate, who has British and American nationalities, has rejected these accusations in the past, describing them as “lies fabrics” and “thick manufactures.” Three of the plaintiffs had filed a complaint with the Police, but the Crown Prosecutor’s Office (CPS), a service in charge of criminal procedures in England, had decided to classify the case in 2019.
According to judicial documents in the civil matter, two of them worked for the online webcams company in 2015, while the other two had relations with him in 2013 and 2014.
A woman states that Tate threatened to kill her, another who clearly indicated that she would kill anyone she would talk to, and a third that Andrew Tate had told her that she had killed people. Presented as the first applicant on the complaint, one of the women says she was threatened with a gun.
The lawyer of the four women, Anne Stud, argued that “the behavior identified as coercive can, in the law, (…) give rise to damage.”
It is suspected that Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan, who are also subject to prosecution in Romania, have had several women for sexual exploitation, including minors.
According to Romanian prosecutors, the victims were trapped by the brothers who simulated feelings towards them, before being forced to the production of pornographic films. Andrew Tate must also answer for alleged rape acts.
