“I am all the ears (and all eyes).” On April 23, 2025, XAI revealed the last functionality of his Grok AI. Called Grok Vision, the AI is now provided with a real time analysis of the images filmed with the phone camera in which the AI is.
Functionality is only available on iOS and has not yet been implemented in Europe. It is accompanied by the addition of several languages for the vocal mode of Grok (Voice Grok). AI could now argue in Spanish, Turkish, Japanese, Hindi and even French according to an employee of Xai Amir, Xai.

The AI is also able to have a voice conversation with the user while taking into account elements seen in the camera, all in real time. An X user, for example, Grok’s new function asks him to describe several elements in his garden.
“A product, a panel or a document”, Grok can also analyze and read text through the camera’s notes to another user. Beyond the analysis, AI is able to provide additional information about an image at the user’s request.
Grok Vision is not new since a similar characteristic is already integrated into the artificial intelligences of OpenAi and Google. Since December 2024, ChatgPT has a function called “Live camera”. Similarly, for Gemini, which has been offering “Gemini Live” since March 2025 to its subscribers paid. Like Grok Vision, these two functions allow the AI to converse with the user, but also see through the device camera.
