Mistral ai set out to attack companies. The French company has rejected its generative dawn in a new version, Lechat Enterprise, an AI that promises to facilitate life in the office.
Specifically, Mistral’s artificial intelligence can connect with most software used in a company such as Gmail, Google Drive, Microsoft SharePoint. It will offer conventional productivity characteristics, such as generating meetings reports or writing a summary of your next week by connecting with the employee calendar.
But the idea would be to go further and be able to create ultra personalized agents within each company. These agents could intervene for human resources, finance, such as a virtual teammate, who would have access to the internal data of the company and could carry out certain tasks independently or semi -autonomous. This would represent a step towards the famous agent, the trend of 2025.
A digital sovereignty tool for companies
The other argument of Mistral is that of digital sovereignty, more important than ever. This new AI can be installed in a private cloud or directly on commercial servers. The idea is that no sensitive given must be able to leak or use to train the models, as has been the case with certain competitors and in a context in which many employees already use artificial intelligence tools to daily. These arguments are supposed to seduce companies, many of which have already begun to equip themselves with professional tools of Microsoft, based on Chatgpt or GEMINI of Google.
The arrival of Lechat Enterprise also represents a growth lever for Mistral. The latter achieved a good collection of funds, with an assessment at almost 6 billion euros last June, but remains a small actor against Americans and Chinese. From this fundamental lifting, competition has intensified largely, either in general models for the general public or in professional tools. Therefore, the battle is particularly hard.
