Between 8 pm and 7 am: Borne wants a “right to disconnection” for students digital work spaces

On the occasion of the “10 days without screens” challenge, the Minister of Education said he wanted a “right to disconnection” for the ETS, as recommended by the screens commission.

The Minister of Education, Elisabeth Borne, said Tuesday that he wanted to organize a “right to disconnect” from digital work spaces (ENT) or software as a pronote for students between 8:00 pm and 07:00.

“I would like to implement the recommendation of the screens commission (…) on the right to disconnect all the digital tools that serve to guarantee the link between schools, establishments, students and families,” said the minister who visits with his digital counterpart Clara Chappaz in a school establishment in Bondy (Seine-Saint-Denis) as part of the challenge “10 days without screens.”

An organized educational initiative every year in schools and communities to raise awareness among children, adolescents and their families with the reasoned use of screens.
