Even Dior does not have the luxury of protecting against cyber attacks. The company held by LVMH was the victim of a cyber attack confirms our colleagues in the world. An individual would have had access to the company’s database in January 2025. The attack was discovered on May 7 by Dior, who since then has mobilized his teams.
“Dior teams, assisted by the main cybersecurity experts, continue their research and respond to this incident. We will inform all competent regulatory authorities,” said the luxury company in a statement.

In detail, the company explains in a press release that a hacker had had access to its customer’s database. Dior has not yet been communicated in the magnitude of the escape or identity of the clients in question. At the moment, only a few Asian clients have been alerted by the company on May 13, 2025 of the possible filtration of their data.
In a message sent to its customers, we learn that the information committed refers to “the name, gender, telephone number, email address, postal address, data and purchase preferences, and other specific data that I would have shared with us.” However, the luxury giant specifies that bank data has not been leaked.
With this leak, Dior invites its clients to be “attentive to any suspicious or communication activity (SMS, calls or emails) and be attentive by clicking on links or opening attached attachments of an unknown source.”
After Chronopost, Alain AFFLau, Indigo or Easy Cash, Dior has not been the first French objective of Cyberattacs since the beginning of 2025. Customer information is often part of the stolen data. These leaks can lead to piracy campaigns with much more sophisticated individuals.
