The German justice rejected on Friday rejected an appeal of consumer defense associations against the goal of using the data of its European users to cause their artificial intelligence models.

The Noyb of the Austrian Association, at the forefront of privacy protection, sent a formal notice letter to Meta on Wednesday to challenge the use of personal data. This letter is “the first step” before a possible court order or even a collective action, Noyb warned, which warns the group of “considerable legal risks” if it persists in its strategy.
