Ubisoft Judgment: The French editor denies that the appointment appears from his CEO

After the revelations of the press, three former Ubisoft employees must respond to accusations of sexual and moral harassment within the editor.

The first expected in March 2025, the trial of former Ubisoft employees processed by sexual and moral harassment must now be held from June 2 to 6 in the court of Bobigny. A deadline claimed by lawyers for civil parties and defense because they had only had access to the archive too late.

In this trial, it is suspected that three former employees of the French editor of about forty sexual aggression for ten years, in addition to toxic behaviors. The harassment described as “systemic” by civil parties.

Among the defendant, Serge Hascoët, former vice president and number 2 of Ubisoft, Thomas François, former editorial vice president and Guillaume Patrux, former director.

Ubisoft denies that appointments appear

But in a press release, Ubisoft comes to deny several information published in recent days, especially in social networks. They suggested that Yves Guillemot, chief and co -founder of Ubisoft, as well as a human resources member, would have been cited.

The French editor claims to have “cooperated completely with the authorities” and has no “other comments” to do “out of respect for the legal process.”

However, Ubisoft wishes to remember that measures have been taken from the release and numerum launches, in July 2020. The company evokes in particular the creation of a team specialized in employee relations, as well as a re -foundry of report channels. In addition, it has also developed training on diversity and inclusion.

The trial has been expected for almost five years, and must open while Ubisoft is in a particularly complicated financial period. However, keep in mind that the suspicious employees of these events have left or were fired from the group.
