In recent months, rapper and producer extracts P. Diddy for sex trafficking have circulated in the Internet. The problem is that these contents are invented from scratch.
As reported by an indicator article, it was translated with The Guardian, about thirty YouTube channels have fun generating, thanks to the AI, false images and videos of the trial that opened in May in the United States last May.

Specifically, the images created by AI are mixed with real report extracts, to make the content more realistic. With an objective: generate commitment and encourage viewers to click the content.
In general, these videos, available in English, Spanish and even in French, promise unpublished revelations of stars. Brad Pitt, Will Smith, Justin Bieber, Oprah Winfrey, Leonardo DiCaprio or Joe Rogan, for example, are mentioned in these videos. To the helm, they would make shocking confessions in the rapper or explain that they were victims of P. Diddy. As expected, these supposed testimonies are completely invented.
To click, the videos of the videos are chosen with care to be suggestive. “Diddy fucked me for 16 years,” “Diddy kicked Bieber’s life” or “sold it to Diddy” can be read under certain publications. The vignettes go up to P. Diddy in front of the bar along with other stars. In one of them, you can also see the rock forced to eat a brain.
And that is a success. According to the data collected on YouTube, 26 channels have generated almost 70 million visits from around 900 videos of P. Diddy in the last twelve months. Therefore, the Celeb Buzz channel generated more than one million visits thanks to 11 videos of Diddy in less than three weeks.
For its part, the Peeper channel, which has accumulated more than 74 million visits since its creation in 2010, has specialized in the issue of P. Diddy for a few months. One of its contents, entitled “Justin Bieber denounces Will Smith, Diddy and Clive Davis for having manipulated him,” accumulates more than 2.3 million visits.
A lucrative strategy … but risky
And who says seen, says income. According to The Guardian, at least 20 of these profiles are eligible for advertising income.
In fact, thanks to the AI boom, it is very easy to generate poor quality in mass content. You just have to find a topic that interests people, such as P. Diddy, therefore, and using chatbots to produce content at an almost automatic pace.
“The AI has allowed people with small budgets to access YouTube automation,” observes Wanner Aarts. Therefore, it would be possible to generate a video for less than $ 10. The expert claims to win more than $ 130,000 per month thanks to its more than 45 channels.
A very lucrative strategy, therefore, but risky. “Most of these channels will not survive,” recalls the expert. In fact, most of these violent contents of the YouTube rules, by disseminating false information. It is likely that creators are also prosecuted by the celebrities mentioned in the videos.
Since then, YouTube has closed a dozen channels. “We have eliminated several channels shared by indicator to violate our conditions of use and our Anti-Spama policy,” YouTube spokesman told Gardian Jack Malon. Some profiles, such as Celeb Buzz, have also been demonized.
