But there is a manufacturer that manages to draw coverage, it is Apple. By offering its AirPods 4, whose most expensive version has an impressive active noise reduction system without being intraid, the company has obviously found the right vein.
Ascending purchases thanks to promotions
This is what arises from a report from the consumer intelligence research partners (CIRP), which shows that if 44% of iPhone owners declare that they have Bluetooth headphones (+3% for a year), 59% of them place their sights in the Airpods. It is a 2% increase compared to 2024.
For CIRP, the technical efforts offered by Apple are not the only explanation, since most sales come from commercial sites that are not affiliated with Apple, such as Amazon, which has multiplied the more or less important promotions for AirPods for several months: “We believe that the two companies just want to sell a large number of AirPods and have a margin capacity to sell them at prices that can generate important sales volumes.” “
Clearly, even in the promotion, Apple continues to earn a lot of money, therefore, leaving its partners to release the ballast over the official price.
But while the headphones retract, airpods are an exception: these are only products of this type that are renewed more regularly. What already imagines new models in the coming months, for example, during the traditional Back -to -School Conference, where the iPhone 17 will be revealed.
