How Epstein’s issue divides a Pro Trump’s network in X

Researchers have discovered, thanks to a small mistake, the existence of more than 400 automated X accounts that support the Trump administration. During the last days, these profiles have only contradicted the Epstein issue. A confusion that reflects that of the president’s supporters.

A case that divides Trump’s supporters … and even bots. As NBC News reports, in X, Ex-Twitter, a botnet, a set of automated accounts on social networks, uses artificial intelligence (AI) to flatter the magician curators who support the US president.

This network feeds more than 400 profiles on the Musk platform that praises the leading personalities of the Trump administration. The objective? Give the impression that Maga is widely supported online and influences public opinion. But a grain of sand has gotten into this perfectly greased mechanic: the Jeffrey Epstein file, this businessman accused of having sexually exploited minors for years, who committed suicide in his cell in 2019.

Donald Trump guaranteed to shed light on this matter, until it is a voting argument for his return to the White House. He had promised to declare the file, while fed a myriad of conspiracy theories in an alleged secret list of influential personalities that would be part of criminal clients.

But since the beginning of July, the president has setback. The survey will not be published in the general public. Many reversions lived as betrayals for the magician. Worse, Pam Bondi, the attorney general, said that the list of potential criminal clients did not exist, when he had assured that he was “found on his desk.”

As a result, followers don’t know what to dance, and either. According to Alesthea researchers, a company that analyzes social networks, the situation would be too difficult to manage for AI that supplies these automated accounts. Therefore, these profiles have contrasted for a few days.

A reflection of Trump’s professional camp division

In the same minute, on Saturday, July 19, a profile warned a Maga defender who would have criticized the prosecutor too much, while saying that Pam Bondi, or the director of the FBI Kash Patel, should resign due to the scandal.

Another bot, which is supposed to support Donald Trump, asked Internet users to retweet his message “if you think Trump and his accomplices lie to the public and take us to idiots. They will not deceive us their mischief.”

“It is possible that the behavior of these automated accounts is influenced by the content published by the main influencers, and this change reflects the general change of tone in many Trump supporters,” continues the researcher.

In fact, supporters are particularly divided. If some support the US president, others come to film themselves burning their caps “Make America Great Again” on social networks. Alex Jones, Tucker Carlson, Mike Cernovich, Megan Kelly … These Maga figures also claim the resignation of Pam Bondi. Everyone wants more transparency and concrete actions while the Wall Street Journal Attributed to Donald Trump a health letter addressed to Jeffrey Epstein.

For its part, the White House refused to comment. The Ministry of Health and Social Services and X did not respond to the requests for NBC comments.
