“Meta is developing a new type of coding maintenance where candidates have access to an AI assistant. This type of interview is more representative of the development environment in which our future employees will evolve and also reduce the risk of cheating linked to LLM (Main Language Models, Editor’s note),” says a message published earlier this month in an internal meta forum, which the 404 media could consult.
Ai to write the code
In addition to authorizing an AI assistant during interviews, the company also asked its employees to be offered as volunteers for a “simulated interview with AI”, according to messages.
This announcement occurs when Meta Ceo, Mark Zuckerberg, believes that he will play an increasingly important role in coding. “Our bet is that next year, probably … maybe half of the development will be carried out by AI, unlike humans.
