No more read (or not) infinite conditions. In a press release, the Tiktok social network announces that it will simplify the reading of the rules of its community to “facilitate access and understanding.”
As of September 13, 2025, it will have a “preview of the rules” section that will summarize each policy applied to the platform. Tiktok will also improve its “Accounts and Functionalities” section from which we can consult the security measures related to direct messages, comments and lives in particular.
Encourage users to read the regulations
By simplifying its regulations, Tiktok expects its users to discourage with the idea of reading the conditions related to the proper operation of the platform. The goal behind is to educate your community better about the different rules that will be respected.
The new measures to protect users will accompany this update. Tiktok noticeably announces that he wants to fight viral videos that contain false information (which explodes with the appearance of AI). He also says that he focuses on refining his rules in terms of cyberbullying.
To guarantee the proper application of these rules, Tiktok explains that “strengthens the training of its moderators and continues to invest in artificial intelligence.” On August 14, 2025, the platform announced the abolition of 150 moderators in Germany to replace them with an AI.
Considered the “drift symbol on the platforms” by Calvados Deputy Arthur Delaport, Tiktok seeks to better control its content. A parliamentary research commission launched in March 2025 aims to study the psychological effects of Tiktok on children.
