Brazil asks Meta to eliminate her chatbots eroticizing children

The Brazilian government has asked the parent company of Facebook and Instagram to immediately eliminate these chatbots created to resemble children and have “sexual conversations.”

These digital agents “promote the erotization of children,” observes the prosecution.

Without sanctions

Brasilia’s application does not provide sanctions, but the Prosecutor’s Office reminded the goal that the platforms had the obligation to get rid of the illicit content created by its users, without even a judicial decision is necessary.
