The body of the streamer Jeanpormanove, who died on Monday, August 18 at age 46, during a live platform in the kick, will be self -supported on Thursday morning, Nice prosecutor said Wednesday.

Raphaël Graven, known online under the pseudos Jeanpormanove or JP, died on Sunday night in Thales, north of Nice, after more than 12 days of live video broadcast, showing him, along with another nicknamed man co -as, violent and humiliated by two known partners under the names of Narutovie and Safine.

The Nice PJ investigation, open to “search for the causes of death”, is “in parallel” that opened on December 16, 2024 after the transmission of a Mediapart article on previous videos in which “the people who will probably be vulnerable were subject to violence and humiliations sometimes encouraged by the money payments of the spectators,” adds the magistrate.
As part of this investigation, Narutovie and Safine had been put into police custody on January 8, 2025, and “people who seem to be victims of violence and humiliations heard,” he continues.
Facts disputed during the audiences
During their audiences, Jeanpormanove and Coudoux “firmly challenged to be victims of violence, indicating that the facts were part of the staging destined to” make the hum “to earn money.”
According to the magistrate, Coudoux had declared to win up to 2,000 euros per month, Jeanpormanove evoked “sums of up to 6,000 euros” through “a company that had created (Y) based on the contracts established with the platforms.”
“Both indicated that they had never been injured, being completely free from their movements and decisions and refused to be examined by a doctor and a psychiatrist,” added the prosecutor.
