Who will buy Warner Bros Discovery? The issue has been on the minds of the entire business press since the Hollywood giant announced that it was examining the possibility of spinning off some of its activities, in particular separating itself from its activities in film, streaming and television.
Since then, the candidates seem to be competing against each other, some more notable than others. This is the case of Netflix, reports Reuters, which has turned to an investment bank to evaluate all the possibilities.
This bank, Moelis & Co, notably allowed the merger between Skydance and Paramount Global, which was completed in the summer of 2025. An important fact, which also paves the way for a broad restructuring plan: Paramount will close several of its activities, including Game One and some MTV channels in France, saying goodbye to 50% of its staff in its television division.
A catalog that attracts the attention of Netflix
