2022 ended in a very particular climate for the technological world, which is in crisis. This did not stop French Tech from exceeding 14 billion euros raised in 2022.
“A year with many challenges” for French Tech, acknowledges Clara Chappaz, director of French Tech, a guest on the Good Evening Business program.
However, France is doing quite well. As proof, the 14,000 million euros collected by French Tech in 2022 compared to 11,700 million in 2021. “It is once again an increase of 20%”, underlines Clara Chappaz.
However, during the same period, the European ecosystems did not experience any growth dynamics like the United Kingdom, which had a 50% drop and Germany, almost 30%.

Above all, before Covid, the collection figure was around 5,000 million euros, so there was a real increase “that continues”, specifies Clara Chappaz. French Tech is developing more and more in B to B solutions.
CES officially opens this Thursday, January 5 in Las Vegas. For the occasion, the French Tech moves. This is the tenth year that French Tech has attended CES. In total, more than 170 startups will be present. A delegation will accompany the Minister in charge of the Digital Transition, Jean-Noël Barrot, who will travel there. The trip will end in San Francisco with French businessmen, a third of whom are women.
