127 million subscribers, a good sample to test your own social network. Elon Musk has announced that his Twitter account will be made private for 24 hours to see if the algorithm highlights his private tweets more than his public tweets.
“I have moved my account to private until tomorrow morning to test if they see my private tweets more than my public tweets,” he tweeted.
In private mode, the user’s tweets are only visible to their subscribers and they can accept or reject subscription requests. Elon Musk’s subscriber base brings together almost a third of Twitter users and the tweet has generated many reactions: almost 12,000 responses and has been viewed 5.2 million times according to the new tool launched by the boss himself.
Elon Musk is testing the algorithm, it remains to be seen what conclusions he will draw from this experience in private mode.

According to his previous tweets, Elon Musk wanted to go private because he was arrested an hour earlier by the Libs of TikTok account. The latter claimed that “setting his account to private was the only way people could see his tweets.” To which the billionaire replied: “something is not right.”
