For several hours, LCL customers have not been able to check their bank account. When trying to connect to the application but also to the website, many Internet users have encountered the same error message: “After a technical incident, the action could not be performed. We invite you to try again later.”
In the morning, LCL apologized on social media for this “inconvenience”, stating that in an emergency it is recommended to call customer service.
Contacted by Tech&Co, the LCL press service indicates that this impossibility of access is due to a “change in an infrastructure component made last night”. The bank also ensures that the technical teams are currently in the process of intervention in order to “restore the service quickly.”
For its part, the Downdetector site, which lists the reports of failures from Internet users, reports an accumulation of technical difficulties linked to LCL, and this since the end of the morning like yesterday January 6 at the end of the day. Here again, customers mention the impossibility of connecting to their customer area from a computer or from a mobile.
