Twitter, again entangled in bugs. A little less than a week after a general blackout of more than two hours, the social network has new display problems this Monday night. In the “Subscriptions” timeline, images or videos are not displayed correctly. Similarly, the links pointed to an error.
On Downdetector’s site, which lists outage alerts from users, reports have spiked sharply in several countries, a sign that outage is widespread there, too.
The links now refer to a message that refers to an API issue, i.e. Twitter’s programming interface. This error is further proof of the fragility of Twitter’s infrastructure, deprived of a large part of its developers.
After taking control of the social network last November, Elon Musk laid off most of his teams, including the developers. The breakdowns have been linked in recent months. Last: Last week, when tweet threads displayed an error or were simply missing.
