The year 2022 was marked by several large-scale cyberattacks that affected institutions, companies and even individuals. Recently, the National Assembly was the victim of such an attack.
In this context, the French startup Defants, specialized in the development of cybersecurity software, raised two million euros on March 16, which should allow it to continue growing commercially and hire new employees. The startup makes a platform available to companies, SaaS Defants vSIRT, which allows them to be more efficient in detecting and preventing the operating modes of cyberattacks by accelerating the process of data collection and processing.
An easily accessible platform
“In both cases, we were in the order of a few hours of research compared to several days or even several weeks. We work very quickly through our platform”, emphasizes François Khourbiga for whom Defants’ second asset, which has less of five clients today, is their ability to identify failures that have not been detected by the companies.
Furthermore, despite the large amount of data to be processed, Defants vSIRT is intended to be an easily accessible tool. In fact, “we have developed a ‘no code’ platform. This means that it is very intuitive and accessible to less expert profiles. Making this platform graphic makes it usable by slightly younger profiles”, says François Khourbiga.
