If you want to know the weather, your iPhone may not be of much help. As many users report on Twitter, Apple’s smartphone cannot display weather data, at least from Apple’s official application, which has been offered on mobile phones since 2007. A failure that has lasted for several hours, Tech&Co has been able to see on several different devices.
Specifically, once opened, the application only shows the name of the cities in memory, without any other element. Unfortunately, closing the app (by swiping the screen from bottom to top) and then reopening it doesn’t help.
According to the findings in Europe, but also in the United States, all Apple systems are affected. Among them, the mobile operating system iOS, but also macOS (Mac), tvOS (Apple TV) or even watchOS (Apple Watch).
On its site, Apple reports that its teams have identified a problem related to the dissemination of weather data since April 4 in the morning. “Some users are affected,” says the company, which does not seem to have found a solution to restore service at the moment.
