Regulation of influencers: the Senate will listen to Magali Berdah

The priestess of influencers will be heard by the Senate on the bill currently under debate.

This is a highly anticipated hearing. On Thursday, April 13 at 3:15 p.m., the influencer agent Magali Berdah will be heard by the Senate in the framework of the “proposal for a law to regulate commercial influence and fight against the drift of influencers on social networks.”

Industry Recommendations

Unanimously approved by the National Assembly at the end of March, the text must be examined by the Senate.

As it stands, the bill reminds that advertising laws also apply to the world of online influence, such as the Evin law that regulates the promotion of alcohol. It also prohibits the promotion of cosmetic medicine/surgery and risky financial investments, and strictly regulates gambling.

Agency founder Shauna Events has been repeatedly accused of her company’s practices by rapper Booba, who has launched an online campaign to denounce environmental abuses. Messages regularly denounced by Magali Berdah, evoking a vast campaign of cyberbullying.

A few weeks ago he founded the Federation of Influencers and Content Creators (FICC), and expressed recommendations to regulate the sector, such as the creation of an authority for influencers.
