Twitter: For information, Elon Musk prefers “ordinary people” to the media

In an interview with the BBC on April 12, Elon Musk returned to his repeated distrust of journalists.

According to developer Travis Brown, more than 27,000 accounts suspended for misinformation, harassment, and hate speech have been restored since the multi-million dollar acquisition. On Twitter, posts that are provocative or emotionally appealing tend to get more shares, true or false.

On April 9, the BBC saw his Twitter account labeled “government-funded media.” The BBC reacted strongly: the channel is financed by public rates and not by the government. Elon Musk said he would change the citation to “state-funded media.” “We want it to be as accurate as possible,” he said.
