Suspending your Twitter account means losing fans or part of your audience. This is the choice that the stars and the media have made to show their discontent with Elon Musk.

The Canadian-American actor left Twitter on November 29, just weeks after Elon Musk took over Twitter. As a souvenir addressed to the billionaire, he published a cartoon of just over a minute with his voice-over, co-directed with Canadian animator Jimmy Hayward, leaving a message:

“I’m leaving Twitter, but first, here’s a cartoon I did with my friend Jimmy Hayward. It’s based on my painting of a crazy old lighthouse keeper standing naked in a storm calling up angels and guiding us with his light through a dangerous night. I love you all so much.”

The CBC-Radio Canada Group announced on April 17 suspend your activities on the social network. This decision is above all the editorial line of the medium, which has not suffered any arbitrary modification to its Twitter account.

Chris Messina is the one who invented the hashtag on Twitter, and announced his departure from the platform last April 15. He even inserted a hashtag in his last tweet: “And it’s over.
