For a few hours, hundreds of posts from unwanted mail were visible on user pages, something that would be filtered if Meta’s social network worked properly.
In a post on twitterAlexandru Voica, one of Meta’s communication managers, explained that the errors were related to “changes in the configuration” of the social network.
“We have resolved the issue as quickly as possible for everyone who has been affected and we apologize for the inconvenience,” he added in the post.
On the Downdetector website, a page where it is possible to report problems in different applications, at 8:30 am, the number of complaints exceeded 300. According to the same source, Portugal was not the only country where errors were detected, since at the same time, Spain, the United Kingdom and the United States of America also registered an increase in user complaints.
