The leader in sustainable smartphones, Fairphone, has just launched its new model of headphones with audio, in line with its previous devices, that is, durable and fair. The Dutch company had already set foot in audio with its in-ear headphones launched in 2021.
The Fairbuds XL have a 30-hour battery life (which is replaceable, by the way), an “active noise reduction” mode, and a two-point Bluetooth connection. The company promises “superior sound quality, Powerful lows, warm mids, and bright, clear highs, delivered by a 40mm dynamic speaker”.
It weighs 315 grams, which is below, for example, Apple’s AirPods Max (about 380 g), and it is foldable. Finally, it comes with the mobile app (available on Android and iOS), which will allow you to monitor the status of the headset, make updates, or even customize its settings.

As part of the brand’s promises, these new headphones are said to be easily repairable: “You can replace 8 parts of the Fairbuds XL that can wear out over time, such as the ear pads or the battery,” says the press of the company. release.
