After the Steam Deck and Logitech G Cloud, a new portable console hits the market. Asus announced on Thursday that its ROG Ally will be available on June 13 and can be pre-ordered now.
Above all, we were eagerly awaiting the price of the machine, which Tech&Co had been able to test last month. Therefore, the version with the extreme Z1 chip, 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage will be sold for 799 euros.
More expensive than Steam Deck
It is therefore more expensive than the Steam Deck in its most expensive version (679 euros) with the same 512 GB of storage.
Unveiled on April 1, in what seemed like an April Fool’s joke, the Asus console is very real. And even very convincing with a higher power than the Steam Deck. With its 7-inch touch screen, its Radeon graphics card and, above all, its two fans with a cooling system to prevent overheating, the ROG Ally was able to convince us.
Console handling is in this article.
