Microsoft does not rule out leaving the United Kingdom if the country does not confirm the Activision takeover bid

Visibly upset with the British regulator, Satya Nadella waved the red flag for a group exit.

Bluff? Probably, but Satya Nadella wanted to mark the occasion. In an interview with CNBC, the head of Microsoft was very allusive to a possible exit from the United Kingdom of the group. “We’re going to wait and see how the situation develops,” he replied simply when asked about it.

Microsoft is not angry after the veto of the British competition regulator, which weakens the acquisition of the Activision study by the American giant.
