Barely released, already historic. This May 17, the new Zelda has crossed the bar of 10 million units sold worldwide, Nintendo announced. A record, for what is one of the most beloved franchises in video game history, launched in 1986. Available only on the Switch console, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom comes six years after a particularly successful earlier work, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
very good reviews
The last game of the franchise had already exploded records in France. With Tech & Co, Fnac had indicated this May 15 to have sold 120,000 copies during the first weekend. The sign had planned to sell 110,000 copies. At the national level, it had then reached around 500,000 copies, estimated the figaro. Particularly awaited by fans, the game should continue its historical momentum.
As soon as it was released, the new Zelda was unanimously acclaimed by critics, both in the opinions published by specialized sites and by the first players.
