The North American space agency (NASA) and the SpaceX company postponed, for 24 hours, the launch of a new mission to supply the International Space Station, which was scheduled for Saturday.
In a statement, NASA revealed that the postponement was due to bad weather conditions and that the launch was rescheduled for this Sunday, at 12:12 local time (5:12 p.m. in Lisbon), at the Kennedy Space Center, in Florida. .
This will be the 28th supply mission of the International Space Station (ISS), to provide technical equipment, scientific material and food to the crew in orbit.
The SpaceX spacecraft will also send material to equip the ISS with solar panels, which will increase the power of the space station by 30%.
