Apple announces a 15-inch MacBook Air

During its annual WWDC conference dedicated to iOS developers, Apple just announced the launch of a new 15-inch MacBook Air equipped with its new M2 chip.

Beneath a multicolored rainbow, Apple chief Tim Cook announced during his annual keynote address on Monday the launch of a new MacBook Air even bigger than the old one.

A MacBook Air that thinks big!

John Ternus, VP of Hardware Engineering is in charge of detailing this announcement: the famous MacBook Air now goes to 15 inches. But that’s not all because the device should be equipped with an M2 chip that would allow the computer to be “12 times faster than the previous model.”

In addition, this more powerful core should also be accompanied by a battery that offers a total autonomy of 18 hours. It is also announced that 6 speakers in total will allow for more immersive sound reproduction from the device.

This new nomad gem on the block should retail for $1,299. The MacBook Air with M1 chip remains at $999, while the 13-inch MacBook Air M2 sits at $1099.
