Apple’s annual developer conference, WWDC, just wrapped up with a slew of new releases, including the Vision Pro, the brand’s first “space computer”: a mixed-reality headset. The operating system for iPhone also benefits from its new revision with iOS 17. If the innovations are not innumerable for this new edition, there are some accessory features that are very useful for some, especially those with a phobia of phone calls.
In fact, iOS 17 will integrate two new features in this direction into FaceTime. The first consists of a video message option left with the user, which can then be transcribed verbatim and read live, allowing not only no reply, no listening to your voicemail, but simply a written reply.
The end of voice messages.
The second function, quite similar, consists of being able to transcribe a voice message left live also during a telephone call attempt. Two novelties that seem to be based on a unanimous belief: today, no one listens to your voice messages anymore…
However, in France, these options may be subject to agreements between Apple and the telephone operators.
Traditionally, the new version of iOS is available in the fall of its release year. Therefore, iOS 17 should not be an exception to the rule, after going through a series of tests reserved for developers. To find out all the news that Apple offers, check out our article on the subject.
