“It’s just the beginning of a revolution.” The future of artificial intelligence lies in personalized assistants, according to Mustafa Suleyman, co-founder of the famous DeepMind laboratory (now owned by Google).
The entrepreneur left DeepMind in 2022 to lead the startup Inflection AI, the origin of Pi, a chatbot designed as a personal assistant to give advice and offer emotional support. According to him, “everyone will want AI: companies, brands, organizations,” the businessman explained to the American media CNBC.
“Most of the time, your AI will talk to other AIs to find the best possible solution to your problems,” Mustafa Suleyman predicts. With Pi, the boss says that he wants to create an AI model that can “do much better at what he wants to do.”
“Many Losers”
These improvements will not necessarily have only positive consequences. In May, Mustafa Suleyman warned of the potential effects of AI on the labor market: “There is no doubt that many jobs in white-collar countries will be very different in the next five to ten years,” he explained – at a conference in San Francisco. “There are going to be a lot of losers.
