“I have already laid out very clearly the approach of the European Union, it remains unwavering. However, that does not mean that we are not willing to explore, with our partners, all possible ways to get the Syrian regime to commit to a solution. policy for the conflict in Syria”, underlined Josep Borrell.

This Thursday the ministerial meeting on the future of Syria and the region will take place in Brussels, after meetings with Syrian civil society, decision-makers and operational partners were held on Thursday.

The Brussels Conference on the Future of Syria and the Region, now in its seventh annual edition, aims to address humanitarian and critical issues affecting Syrians in Syria and neighboring countries, as well as those affecting communities surrounding host Syrian refugees in Syria.
