kyiv says it intercepted a missile and 20 Russian drones overnight

The Kiev Air Force said it had shot down a cruise missile and 20 Iranian-made unmanned aerial devices (drones) launched by Russia last night against Ukraine.

Ukrainian forces managed to intercept one of four cruise missiles launched from the Caspian Sea and 20 drones fired from the north and south, Ukrainian forces said via the Telegram digital messaging system.

Another three Russian missiles hit “industrial facilities in the Dnipropetrovsk region” (central east), according to military sources in kyiv.
