Two drones were shot down in a village in the Moscow region, near warehouses of one of the military units deployed in the area, Russian province governor Andrei Vorobyov said.
The city is located about 59 kilometers west of the Russian capital and about 500 kilometers from the Ukrainian border.
According to Vorobyov, fragments of the unmanned aircraft were found, which caused no damage or casualties.
“Special services are conducting an inspection, the area is now isolated. I ask people to keep calm,” added Vorobyov.

The official Russian news agency TASS had indicated that three drones had been shot down on the outskirts of Moscow, citing police.
The incidents, which caused no damage or casualties, took place in the Naro-Fominsk district.
