Former CNN producer sentenced to 19 years in prison for seducing a child into sexual acts

John Griffin paid for the woman and girl to fly from Nevada to Boston, picked them up at the airport, and drove them to his home in Vermont, where the girl said Griffin sexually assaulted her, according to court documents.

He was arrested in December 2021, the day after he was convicted by a grand jury, and subsequently fired from CNN, where he worked for eight years, according to the network.

The sentence also prohibits you from having contact with anyone under the age of 18 except in the presence of an adult approved by a probation officer, and you are prohibited from entering areas where children congregate, such as schools, playgrounds and amusement parks. , unless previously approved.
