A minor died and 30 people may be missing due to the sinking of an inflatable boat that left Cape Bojador with 60 people on board, and which was 150 kilometers south of the Canary Islands.
The rescue coordination center in Rabat, Morocco, informed the Spanish maritime rescue services that the Al Mansour patrol boat rescued 24 occupants of that inflatable boat alive, part of them in the water.
The Spanish helicopter Helimer 201 -sent from the Canary Islands- recovered the body of a minor, who will be transferred to the island of Gran Canaria.
The non-governmental organization Caminando Fronteras guarantees that the boat left Cape Bojador, on the Sahara coast, with 60 people on board, including six women and a baby.
