The Russian president signed on Friday the annexation treaties of the four occupied Ukrainian regions, after a long speech largely marked by accusations from the “enemy” of the West.
Addressing the soldiers who have recently joined the call for mobilization, Vladimir Putin reminds us with whom they are really fighting, who is “the enemy” that encourages wars in the world to obtain a “damn profit” from them: the West that ” he finally took on the mask and showed his true nature.”
“After the fall of the Soviet Union, the West decided that we should all accept its dictatorship forever” and said that Russia could never recover, but “resisted, was reborn” despite numerous attempts to weaken the country.
“For them it is essential that all countries give up their sovereignty in favor of the United States. They accept to be vassals of the West”, he accuses. Power, greed and profit are the “real motives” in the war against Russia, according to Putin. “They don’t want us to be free, they want to see us as their own colony…a multitude of obedient slaves.”
The West, Putin continues, sees Russia’s “development and well-being” as a threat. He broke all agreements and all promises. Western elites remain imperialists and divide peoples into first and second categories, it is a “form of racism”: Russophobia. “Whoever is not with us is against us.”
It was the Western countries that determined the rules of sovereignty and the establishment of borders, “who gave them this right”, you ask? That is why now they do not recognize the right of the peoples of Zaporizhia, Luhansk, Donetsk and Kherson to join Russia.
And the United States devastated German cities in World War II, hit Japan with nuclear bombs and Vietnam and Korea with napalm bombs. And they constantly lie, condemns the Russian president. They demand sanctions against Russia and the European countries obey.
And now “they have resorted to sabotage”, Putin accuses, attributing the gas leaks in the Nord Stream gas pipelines to the “Anglo-Saxons”. “Who benefits from this? Who benefits is whoever did it,” he says. “Now we have to convince citizens to eat less, spend less and stay warm.”
The West denies the natural orders of morality, religion and the family, he continues. And addressing Russian citizens directly, he asked: “Do we really want children, instead of a father and a mother, to have relative 1, relative 2, relative 3?” That they be taught that there are more than two genders. Do you dare to change sex? “It’s open Satanism. These poisonous fruits are out there.”
We are fighting against Western dictatorship and hegemony. “This is the battle for the great historical Russian”, we must protect our children “against slavery and experiences that are intended to harm his soul”, he appealed. “Our values are compassion and humanity (…) the truth is on our side,” he concluded.
