Former Audi CEO Rupert Stadler has been sentenced in Germany to a 21-month suspended prison sentence and a €1.1 million fine in the Dieselgate case.
He is the first Volkswagen Group executive to receive a criminal sanction in the context of the engineered diesel engine scandal.
