A fire broke out early Tuesday in a skyscraper in Ajman, in the north of the United Arab Emirates. Flames destroyed several of the building’s 36 floors.
According to local authorities, all residents have been evacuated from tower 2 of the Ajman One residential complex, in Al Rashdiyah district, and taken to hotels in the area.
The fire was brought under control by emergency services and no injuries were reported, the Gulf News newspaper said, citing Ajman authorities.
Images of the blaze shared on social media show the extent of the blaze, with debris falling from the burning building and the work of emergency services.

A fire had already broken out in the same building in 2016, the BBC reports.
