The President of the Republic “strongly condemned the illegal annexation” of the four Ukrainian regions by Russia.
Emmanuel Macron on Friday condemned “strongly the illegal annexation” by Russia of four regions of Ukraine, which represents “a serious violation of international law,” the French presidency said.
“The President of the Republic strongly condemns the illegal annexation by Russia of the Ukrainian regions of Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhya and Kherson. This is a serious violation of international law and Ukrainian sovereignty. France opposes and sides with Ukraine to deal with Russia’s aggression. and recover its full sovereignty over all its territory”, the Elysee reacts after the signing by President Vladimir Putin of this annexation.
