At least two people have been killed and 28 injured after a shooting at a block party in Baltimore, Maryland. Nine people were transported to the hospital, with three in critical condition, CNN International advances.
The shooting took place in the 800 block of Gretna Avenue early Sunday morning. So far there is no information about what was behind this new shooting in the US Police are still looking for the shooter.
Acting Baltimore Police Commissioner Richard Worley said when officers arrived they found several people shot.
Baltimore Mayor Brandon Scott said the city was mourning the dead and injured, calling the shooting “reckless” and “cowardly.”
“I want those responsible to listen to me and listen to me very clearly: we will not stop until we find you and we will find you. Until then, I hope that with every breath you take, you think of the lives you’ve taken and think of the lives you’ve impacted here tonight,” Brandon Scott was quoted as saying by Fox Baltimore.
Hundreds of people were in the area for a party called “Brooklyn Day.”
