A Russian bombing of the Ukrainian town of Pervomaisky, in the Kharkiv region, left more than 30 injured, including at least nine children.
“We have learned that there are a significant number of casualties: 31 people have been hospitalized,” at least nine of whom were minors, including two infants, the head of Ukraine’s presidential administration, Andrii Yermak, told Telegram.
Yermak said people were injured after “the Russians fired a high-powered grenade” that set fire to several cars in a parking lot.
In turn, the governor of the Kharkiv region, Oleg Sinegubov, published a video showing smoke from burning cars near a Soviet-era residential block.
The town of Pervomaisky is located about 80 kilometers south of the regional capital of Kharkiv, still relatively far from the frontline in the Donbass region.
