The Federal Security Service of Russia (FSB, successor to the Soviet KGB) reported that it “neutralized the illegal activities of a criminal group formed by Russian citizens suspected of collecting and passing on information to representatives of the armed forces of Ukraine about the interests of the Ministry”. of Defense in the region”, located next to the border with Ukrainian territory.
In addition, according to the FSB, the information passed to the Ukrainian armed forces can be used for sabotage operations and acts of terrorism, as well as for bombing with high-precision weapons and “drones” of Russian logistics points.
