The polls give the victory to the PP in the Spanish elections of July 23

According to the survey published by the newspaper El Mundo, the Popular Party (PP) of Alberto Núñez Feijóo obtained 147 seats compared to the 108 of the PSOE. Adding would be the third force with the most votes, 34 positions, ahead of Vox (29).

The El País survey places the PP ahead with 32.9% of the votes, followed by Pedro Sánchez’s party with 28.7%. Even so, the PSOE reverses, according to the newspaper, the downward trend since the debate between Pedro Sánchez and Alberto Nuñez Feijóo, last week.

If these results are confirmed, Feijóo’s party would obtain 125 seats for Feijóo and the Socialists 110

In the fight for third and fourth place are Sumar by Yolanda Díaz and Vox by Santiago Abascal. In the El País survey, the two parties are practically tied: Sumar with 13.7% and Vox with 13.5%. The slight difference would mean, however, more seats for Vox, a total of 38 compared to Sumar’s 36.

In El Mundo, the difference in places is more pronounced, with a survey that assigns 34 seats to Sumar and 29 to Vox.

The newspaper writes that, with this scenario, the PP and Vox block would add 176 seats, exactly the number necessary for an absolute majority that would allow an investiture. Even so, the newspaper advances, the downward trend of Santiago Abascal’s party has jeopardized the expectation of a change of government in recent days.
